First I just want to add to fredriks last input that I also have ripped his favourite jeans by accident.
Now to the more important stuff, I want to tell you about some interesting phenomenon here on Ireland:
First the thing with the crossings; to be a cool, "I know everything", city person you need to run over the crossings at all time. The city people just dont have the time to wait for the traffic lights to turn green. You need to stand ready at the front of the crossings, you need to not care about the traffic at all, you simply need to run (not run, because cool people do not run, just walk really, really fast). It kinda looks like a game, the who can cross the road first game. And even tough the road-cross-people think they look cool and important, I can see the fear in their eyes.
Another thing is the amount of blinde people. I mean, their almost the majority of the people here in Dublin. Its not that I just suppose they are blinde, they really are very blinde because they all walking around with blinde sticks, hitting people on Grafton St.
I woldnt care if it was just two guys, but they are thousands of them, maybe they just cant afford glasses or lenses, maybe they just want some space.
The last thing are the Dublin buses. Its just a very strange system. You get on the bus, pay the driver and it doesnt matter how much money you pay, you dont get anything back at all, then you sit besides some strange smelling man, you get off the bus but before you do you say cheerfully "thanks" to the driver. Lets just say its nothing like västtrafik.
